Hi - does anyone know how to remove glue residue from plastic headlights. I have some residue on them from continental headlight stickers. My Rav4 failed the MOT because of the glue diffusing the light. Any:runaround: suggestions would be most welcome.

Naptha should do it but, it may mare the lenses. Apply a small dot of it down in a corner thats not obvious. Let it sit a few minutes then wipe. If it looks good try it on the glue. In the states we have this stuff called Goo Gone that may work.
We lived in Norfolk for 5 years. We hated to leave. Remember well dealing with headlight lenses. We had an American car with American lenses (glass) and had to use the stickers as you did. As I understood it, it wasn't completely legal but, we got away with it MOT after MOT. Cheers!
