Sway Bar Broke?

Ok, I think I broke my sway bar, on the passenger side, right close to the end. Has this happened to anyone and is it a hard part to replace? I saw one from zzp is only like $70, but is it a hard job? Thanks

The OEM sway bars are hollow, and a relatively common issue, especially in states that use salt to clear the roads in the winter. As far as replacement, it's getting the old part out of the frame, and the new one back in that's the hard part.

Not really hard and DIY. Most tedious part is getting to the mid bushings. See tech procedure at link below.

I would get it replaced as soon as possible. The stabilizer bar is an integral part of the Grand Prix's tuned suspension. Your handling will be affected and may lead to an accident. We've had some real horror stories about this issue this year.
