clutch issue????

hey..i was driving my 98 3000gt..no issues, no warning signs, but all the sudden..i was backing my car up..ironicly to put up for sale..and all the sudden the clutch just fell to the floor! there is about 1" of play in the clutch now..i dont even know if its drivable..i dont know what it is..i had the clutch changed about 4000 miles ago..a few ideas i thought were maybe low fluids? or a slave or master cylinder? idk..trannys arnt my specialty..any ideas?

Check the resevoir. Its problably empty. Chances are your slave is shot.

well i did check my resovoir right after it happened..it was the first thing that came to my mind..and easiest to check..its missing about an inch of fluid off the top..which is quite a bit considering its a small resovoir..im betting its the slave too..well see when i tow it to my machanics tomorow..
