need trans help!

I have a 91 stealth ES auto - with a 93 trans...I put it in, changed out all the electrical plugs and such, changed shafts...I started the car it went into gears and drove it around, turned off car...started it back up and it wouldn't go into any gears...the auto stick was not initiating any gear...what could have happened...Help! Thanks guys.

Hard to say...anymore details? Did it make any noises? smells? Is there fluid in it?

It didnt make any noises or smells..there is fluid in it. The metal poll/piece that clicks in a circular motion when you shift gears..and runs into the trans...was disconnected when I opened up the trans pan. I lined it back up and it still didnt work..Is there another piece that could have "popped" out?

You probly burnt up a solenoid. As far as I know the valve bodies are different between a 91 and 93. Its odd it drove around at all.

so what does that actually mean..and how do I fix it? :)
