00' Tailgate woes and drivers lock issues

Had a boat trailer go clean through the back of my tailgate, just to the left of the license plate. Has anyone tryed to remove and replace their rear door on this model explorer, if so how difficult was it and how much were you able to get a new/used door for. I also have an issue with my drivers lock which does not engage most of the time, if it does it gets stuck in the locked position
