Battery problems

I have a 1996 Cavalier that started having battery problems about a month ago. If I let the car sit for a few days, the battery would drain down so it wouldn't start. First I tried changing the battery, but this didn't work ( the alternator is also good ). My mechanic told me that he had continuity on his trouble light until he pulled out one of the following fuses (I can't remember which one) Batt1 (40A "Power ACC/stoplamp circuits") and Batt2 (40A "Lighting circuits") in the engine compartment. The problem is, I don't have an electrical schematic for this circuit. If anyone has a schematic for these circuits, I would appreciate it if they could E-mail it to me.
