please don't buy a civic and ask what you can do to make it fast. Civics are not cars made for speed, if you want a fast car, keep and fix up your mustang. but anyways, enough hating. first 3 things you should do to make your car breath better are i/h/e. Intake, header, and exhaust.

You should look at www.streetimports.com they have plenty of engines for sale straight from Japan the H22A is for sale eng./ECU/Trans./clutch, all for $2599.- plus shipping and handling think about the possibilities and forget what old boy said hes just not used to going fast.

There's more aftermarket parts available for the 5th gen. civic than the 6th gen civics, and you can swap out those motors just as easily as the 6th gens. And I hope you plan on doing something to that H22A, cause stock in your car is going to be having a little problem keeping up with my LX. Turboed B18C1 bitch!

I got a 93 Civic Ex standard, and it is great, i think the 5th generation are the best (92-95 Civic). But i agree with civicHBsi91 if you do euro lights, stay with carbon fiber looks.
Im getting rims on december 9th cant wait ,will post pic

Exactly. Plus I think the lines on the EG's are alot better. As to the original question you can make civics very fast. I have seen 10 sec streetable civics and that is fast in any context. Plus my 2k SI goes 150 with just intake and header.
