Horn blows upon acceleration

My daughter just called. She is on the way to work in her 2000 Stratus SE and every time she hits the gas the horn blows.

Sound quality of the horn is normal.

She says she can hear a clicking noise so that should rule out the relay right away.

I searched this forum and have noticed a few threads with horn issues but it doesn't seem like the ones that somewhat match my daughters problem have been resolved.

I bought a Haynes manual the other day but this problem ain't in there...

So, does anyone know what I should check first?

I went by her work and took the car for a drive. Could not duplicate the problem.

The horn does seem kind of touchy when you use your hands to activate it.

I told her if it does it again to smack the wheel and see what happens...LOL

Any suggestions other than that?

I've replaced a few hornpad/airbags on stratus' for the same problem.
