'89 F150 4.9l problem

I have a '89 ford with a 4.9l. with a standard trans. When i drive it it will start to jerk (like a fuel problem) in the 1600 to 2000 rpm range. No matter what gear im in. It will not do it just setting and revving the engine to that rpm range. I put on new distributor, air idle sensor, fuel regulator, new injectors(2 were leaking anyways), new fuel pump, fuel filter, took tanks off and cleaned out. It still does it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

did you ever find out what was your problem? I am having the same issues, just did a fuel pressure check and still that reads fine. I suspect maybe the low pressure pumps.

it sounds like a classic egr system issue. try disconnecting the vacuum line off of the egr valve to see if it goes away. if so then you ether have a bad valve,or your egr ports are clogged and need cleaning
