Trouble with 5th or Reverse

I replaced the clutch in my 91 Z24 and now I have problems. When I shift into 5th it acts like I down shifted to third while going too fast. The other problem is when I shift into reverse the car goes forward. Any suggestions? thanks in advance.

shift cables maybe?

Maybe you put the transmission back in backwards?
