Ok heres my deal... I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix SE nearing 200k, still running like a champ for the most part...
I got pulled over tonight and the cop said that my exhaust was too loud... I know its slightly loud, but I've heard louder cars... Well he told me that he could tow my vehicle but wasnt going too... kept asking me if there was a hole in my muffler... I said not as far as I know... Well I got home and looked under the car and it appears as though the douche I bought the car off of, put a straight pipe all the way to the catyllitic converter to make it sound like a fart pipe on a rice burner... My question is, is there anyway to cheaply quiet the car down so I dont get pulled over and have my vehicle towed?... Cant afford a new muffler right now, unless someone knows where I could pick one up for less than 30 dollars...
Also, when I first got the vehicle, the turn signals worked, but seemed rather sluggish between flashes... now they dont work at all... could it be the switch?
Thanks,
Mike
