97 Conti hard starts...

Hey everyone again. When I attempt to start my car, it cranks but does not start. It's tuned up, new alternator and battery. Any ideas? There's no codes either. Thanks in advance!

AGAIN !!! or is this the same problem?

You know the drill by now, Compression, Fuel, and Spark. With all three at the proper time it'll run great.

So, am I confused or is this the same problem?

My conti had that same problem.
The car cranks, but does not start.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on and was
getting over 40psi of pressure.
So the conti was gettting fuel.
Put a screwdriver in the sparkplug wire
and grounded it. Had someone cranking
the motor, didn't see a spark.
She wasn't getting spark!
Turned out to be the crankshaft pos. censor.
Everytime I hit the censor with a hammer, it
would start up after that.
