missfire Code 300

Do you have to pull distributer to install cam sensor on 95 jimmy 4.3 W ( EDI )

P0300 is commonly set due to a secondary ignition problem such as plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, or ignition coil. Did you also get a DTC for camshaft position sensor? If so, what code did you get?
