My 2004 CR-V just started hesitating really really badly this morning. My wife took it in and the mechanic said it is throwing a code 2647. I can't find this code listed anywhere online.
Anyone know anything about it? heard of it. Is it legit?
She's waiting at the shop for me to tell her what to do, so time is of the essence....
Thanks

that code is invalid i would refuse service at the shop and take your 04 crv to autozone and have them scan your car for the code but it sounds like you might have a vacuum leak or possible tps is no good so scan it first with obd2 scanner then determine where u are because alot of shops try to take advantage of women so never ever have your wife take it to a shop because they will take her for a ride because they think she dont know anything anyways obd2 codes consist of P0175, P0223 but never have i seen an obd2 code like 2647

The OBD2 codes given at this link:http://www.hondasociety.com/board/showpost.php?p=1510002&postcount=5
shows P2647 as a VTEC oil pressure switch high voltage reading.
Supposedly a simple fix by replacing that switch. Otherwise rough running at rpm greater than 2500 rpm?
Wiseguy01 gives good advice about letting your wife take a car to anyplace. Some mechanics do take women customers to the cleaners.
good luck.
