Tow Question

I have a 1999 Z71 with the Vortek engine and I am wondering what my Max tow ability is. I am going to buy a 29 foot bayliner that weighs 4500 lbs empty and the trailers is about 1500. Am I pushing my limits?

5500 is a safe limit here, 8cyl I presume, you will need an external trans cooler also. Check the owner's manual for GM's recommendation.
