I have a problem with my tranny. I took it to the shop, but they're stuck because my car is missing the second connector to communicate with the data link. it has the obd 2 but not the other connector. is there a way around it or am i going to have to find another connection at a junkyard, becasue if i go to the dealership they will probably sell me the whole wiring harness.

I'm not even sure how there would be no pin in the obd2 connector. Does this mean you couldn't even read codes if you had a CEL? How many places did you try going to, to have it read? You might want to try autozone since it's free. If nothing else you could always try the KEY on, off, on, off, on method, and read the codes manually. Other than that I'm not really sure what to tell you.

the obd2 connector is there, the shop is telling me that there is another connector that is supposed to be right next to it in order to communicate with the computer, but they cant find it.

The only other connector there next to the OBDII in the 95 is the OBDI connector.
