:gives: Now was that nice? Saw an ad where KIA had $1,500. rebate off Spectra invoice and I never saw that before so went to take a look see. Gave me a grand more than all the others so I came home with an 07 Spectra EX loaded and thus far I love it, especially the 37 MPG. Hope Shorod and Way2Old don't run me off and it's legal for me to hang here, but I want to be straight and let you know I no longer own my trusty steed Tauri. The Taurus served me well and I would have no problem owning one again. Gas highest it's ever been here, $2.81 and I wanted a little car to tool around in during my retirement.

That would be hypocritical of me. I haven't owned a Taurus for about 2 years now. I had traded off my Taurus SHO for a Lincoln LS, had some issues with that that even Lincoln engineers couldn't fix after visiting my car and riding with me, so traded it off for an '07 Infiniti G35s. I hang out here because I've worked on a lot of Fords and enjoy the active forum.

Good luck with the Kia. They've been making quite a name for themselves in the high reliability department. And, by being part of Hyundai, they are getting more respect.

Hell Huney1, I have owned General Motors for over 40 years. Just this year bought an 07 F150 XLT Crew Cab. I just have worked on the things for years. Wife has 07 Monte Carlo SS 5.4L. Nice ride. Good luck with new ride.

I just get a chuckle because I happened to notice all the Google ads at the top of the page are KIA related. Whether you want parts,an invoice price, or buying a new one. All this in a FORD forum :lol:Gotta love those targeted ads by "keywords".

Another reason I love Firefox as a browser. Adblock keeps me from having to see those Kia (or other) ads. :)

HMM "Adblock" you say. I'll have to check into that add-on as I'm running Firefox but currently do not have that one. Although I do get a good laugh at some of the ads they run in certain posts on this site. Some are so way off base just by using one of the keywords in the post. :p
