I'm thinking about changing both front struts and rear shocks.

I'm pretty handy but want the pro's opinion on the difficulty of this job. Is this something a DIY'er should get in to? Are there any specialty tools needed?

Thanks

If you are handy with auto work then you should have no problems doing the front and rear struts. You will need at least one special tool - strut coil spring compressor. After the work is done the alignment should be checked. See link below for tech procedure.
