ok i have a sony xplod 500 watt amp running to kicker conp vr 8s bridged. my jvc head unit is giving out another 180watts and i have a inline fuse block with 100 amp fuse in it my volume goes up to 50 but everytime i get around 20 to 25 it blows my fuses. no matter how many amps. could it be the 8 guage wire thats only registered for like 260 something or something else im in deperate need of help.

check your wiring. make sure that nothing is accidently touching the ground somewhere. what fuses are you blowing? the inline fuse will be independant of what your head unit does. did you install the head unit yourself?

I would guess you have the gains on the amp set wrong ..... full power for the amp is probably around volume setting 20 or so.
