Buying a used Silhouette...

I am looking at a used 92 Silhouette with about 165000 miles on it. The body looks to be in great condition as id the interier. It has been a long time since I have bought a used vehicle and have not really kept up on the pros & cons of the different vans. My questions are,

Is it a good idea to buy a used Olds Silhouette or should I look at something else?

What would the pros & cons be to buying one over a van like a caravan or something simular?

Are parts readily available for the van?
