Is this right?

I had recently purchased an aftermarket front motor mount for my 1st gen R/T and I have no idea if it was made right. The mounting bracket is at an angle to the head with the polyurethane fill and the support plate at the top is at a slight angle as well. I'm not sure if this is the correct geometry of the part or not.

Are you talking about the actual mount or the bracket?

The bracket that attaches to the frame is at an angle to the polyurethane filled head which attaches to the engine. I actually just got an e-mail from them stating that that's the way the part is meant to be and the way the stock one was designed for structural integrity. However, I study mechanical design and engineering in school, and from what I know parts are strongest when supplementary (at 90 degree angles to one another), but then again maybe the way the engine torques is different than what I'm thinking.
