I have a growling noise coming from the right side of final drive directly connected with right front drive shaft. The sounds is simular to rough gear matting. It is directly related to speed. No noise from the left side when car is jacked up only the right side when it is jacked up. What could possibly be the problem/answer.

Welcome to AF.
Sounds like you have a wheel bearing bad. :grinyes:
Typical of these models to need these replaced,
sometimes repeatedly.
If you do the work your self, dont use any air impact tools on the new unit or it is likly you'll damage the speed sensor that is built in.

Yes that sound exactly like a wheel bearing...I just had to get mine replaced, I had it done under drivetain warranty, thank god because the part itself was well over 350.

$350 sound a little pricey.
these are available at the Zone for around $120 each.

The dealership quoted me that price...when they replaced it under warranty the price dropped to 295. on the invoice.
