Did a trail today with Mike up to the site of a TU-33 crash that happened in the 60's. The scenery was awsome, I love fall.

Great stuff! I'll get out there someday.

Am I mistaken or does the sticker on Mike's rear glass read,

"If the Rodeo's rockin', don't come knockin'!"???

LOL

Too bad Ramblin couldnt make it. Dunno if his truck would have made it up the trails but he could have at least rode along and seen what a real rodeo will do LOL.

You'd be amazed what this ole girl could do....starting to go lighter on the trails as she ages though, need this ole girl to last a long while yet.

Mike tried some of the stuff in 2wd and wouldnt do it. Ended up needing 4low. Was one section that didnt look that bad to me, waited for him to get up it and he finally showed up then said "f%$# you and your locker" LOL took him a few tries at it. I just drove right through. I usually put mine in 4lo anyway just to keep the speed down. Dont like bouncing over the rocks and hammering the suspension. I definatly hid the bottom hard on a few rocks though. Finally turned the ranchos up to 6 instead of my normal 3 setting.

I just finally had the time to actually look at your pics, yeah, some of those areas look pretty wicked. Probably would've needed 4-wheel for sure, our Toyota, however, although we bought the TRD version, will probably never see really rough trails. Our construction lively-hood puts our vehicles through a lot of torment on it's own, getting to where, with the cost of parts, rising gas prices, groceries, etc. we're getting more and more cautious of the trails we hit for fear of breaking parts.

Think the Rodeo's seen her last days of trails she should've never been on in the first place, can't afford, physically, to do these ball joints again - they were a real _ _itch on this truck. Probably cause they were so deteriorated. We've really hammered this girl though, through the years - but I need her financially for at least another 5yrs. Lets us get the Toyota paid off.
