Haha...didn't notice that till you mentioned it. But it's supposed to be like this as I built it so that the driver is turning right. You have the option of the driving turning left or right or driving straight. And the arms and head are supposed to tilt accordingly. Thanks for all the comments.

As Chris said...it needs the black around the windows to finish it off.

Ya, I know, realised it only after I have glued on the windows. Any suggestion to paint the windows without smudging the windows or the other parts? BTW, I have waxed the whole car, including the windows, do you think the paint will stick? TIA

If possible....remove the body and if you can take the windows back out to paint if you want a really need job done.
I never glue my windows in just in case i ever have to remove them.
I use a very strong tape and tape the bottom edges of the windows in place where it will not be seen when built.
i only glue them in if i really have to.

Thanks for the advice, will remember to tape the windows for my future models. Will let my GF try the window trim part without taking anything off, if she succeed, will post some pics. P.S. she got some steady hands, all parts to be paint brush is done by her, basically all the interior :)

Excellent job man! :D Everything looks great. The only thing I don't like are those rims. IMO they look so damn ugly! Do the trim around the windows and it'll be perfect. great job!

Hi,
Model looks great! Only the rims....
Try to mask windows and body with masking tape and use paint marker instead spray or brush painting.
You can remove wax with alcohol on Q-tip. It's safe for model and paint.
Take care,
Arek

Thanks for the info, question: will the masking tape tear off the decals?

Hi again,
If your model is clearcoated, masking tape won't take the decals off.
I would not try to mask decaled body. Masking tape is the best for decals removing. ;o)
For windows decals. I never clearcoated windows. Normally it's not neccesary and doesn't look good. So, if you want to mask window decals, you should be careful. In that case I would use piece of paper to cover decals.
If you ruin your window decals, let me know. You can have mine - I will not use them on my Impreza.

Thanks for offer bro, but I'm still not sure if I'm painting it. Depends on my GF, its going to be a challenge for her.:)

Hi,
Try this link before you finally decide not to make rims. It's not as hard as it seems.

Talk about picture intensive! I like the way the driver is looking at the navigator saying to him....WTF? It also looks like he is reading the pace notes just to make sure that the navigator can read them properly. Looks really good, besides those rims, but I suppose they are purpose built rims, correct me if i'm wrong but those rims don't clog with mud, snow etc. Like the Volvo ACC Concept. What kit is that? My friend bought the Tamiya great britain rally version but it is a tarmac one, it also doesn't have the driver figures and the headphones in it
