Head unit is factory AM/FM Cassette no CD controller......Has anyone just tapped into the rear speaker level wires with a line converter to run a sub amp ? If so, how did it turn out ?....and.....has anyone used bazooka's in the rear vs. a bandpass under the rear seat ?

the boxes i cant help you with, but yeah u can splice into the rear speakers, thats exactly what i did when i hooked up 2 aftermarket amps on a stock jeep liberty with no pre-outs. as long as the stereo has descent sound controls (ie. equalizer or some sort) it should turn out fine.
