try Hiroboy.com CLICK (http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=46&products_id=1145), it looks like he hasn't the color on his site but he is probably able to mix it for you!

Have you tried looking for auto touch up paint in a spray can?

Try here (http://www.getppgcarpaint.com/home.php).

They can often mix the color you need in a spray can.

But get yourself an airbrush.

You are in the UK. Go to Halfords and they will mix you any color you want in a spray can IIRC

thanks guys, ill go up to halfords soon then and have a look ;)

Is the technique for using auto paints the same as model paint?

No, you need to do more prep work for autopaints and you absolutely have to use a primer over the plastic to protect it as auto paints tend to use stronger solvents.

Thanks man, i did realise that, i just wanted to know would i need some sort of special primer or i dunno :S i just know that auto paints tend to melt plastic :)

If you use the paints from Halfords they also do a plastic primer in grey or white specifically to use under their paints.I've used it before and it seals the plastic nicely before you apply the top coats.

careful though, that primer seems to be a lot more viscious than the regular automotive primer. Could just have been me, but I "lost" a good panel line to their plastic primer on a recent kit, something that's never happened with regular automotive primer.

You can use regular Gunze and Tamiya primers under these paints IMO

Also, if you live in North America, Dupli-color has a very very thorough inventory of colour-matched paints, and if that Mitsubishi colour is available on any North American Mitsubishi, they probably have it.

if you're going into halfords, they might even have that exact paint in their existing spray range.

not quite....
halfords has a range of ready mixed automotive paints for the most common colours on the road.
You don't need to go and ask them to mix them.
