Thrust Arm/Upper Control Arm bushings

I am confused about the Upper Control Arm (Thrust Arm) bushings.
The BMW Shop manual says that the improved newer bushings are Hydraulic, the parts houses say their Polyurethane are "indestructable".
Which is best currently?
(I am trying to rid myself of a speed sensitive front end vibration, vibrates from 55 thru 68 either accelerating or braking.)
Also, can the bushings be installed into the control arm with a heavy vise instead of a press?
Any experienced guidance appreciated....
