Weird smells

Hello,

I have a 02 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, with around 43,000 miles on it. A few days ago I started noticing a strong exhaust smell inside the car when I would accelerate somewhat quickly (It was not floored).I didn't have the air on, and the exhaust system is stock.Hopefully it is not to serious. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

sounds like you didn't have your truck lid shut or an exhaust leak...

01-02 Grand Prixs have a known issue with the catalytic converter, and it's covered by an extended warranty to 120k miles. Your best bet is to have an exhaust back pressure test done.
