1998 Chevy Cavalier Clutch Issues

I was driving to work the other day and noticed the clutch in my Z24 was a little weak but I was able to shift fine for the 30 miles to work. I made it to work and parked in the parking ramp and proceded to hate my life for 9 hours. When it was finally time to go home I got into my car, started it up and attempted to drive. The car leaped forward and died. I was able to start it in reverse and back it back into the parking spot to figure out what I need to do. At least the tranny still works. I was able to, with skilled foot work, drive the car out of the garage but was unable to pull it out of first gear with out some force. I had the car towed home and it is now parked in the street out in front of my house. So I know it is the clutch but what parts would I need to get and approxamately how hard would it be to fix? Thank you.

go to autozone and buy a clutch kit comes with a clutch plate throw out bearing and pressure plate and lifetime warranty but it should take a day tops and you have to remove the cv axles and couple motor mounts and bolts about 15-20 and you should have a descent set of tools to do the job
