Well its time for me to convert to external wastegate. I need to get my boost down. I would like to run no more than 9psi on my 14b. Anways the manifold I am thinking about is the DN Performance manifold. Its flanged for a 38mm tial. I know nothing about external wastegates and whats good and whats crap. The tial would probably be fine for what I'm doing right? Has anyone heard of Synapse before? I have been doing some research on them and I'm kinda interested in their 40mm wastegate. It bolts to a 38mm tial flange.
Heres the Synapse site: http://www.synapseengineering.com/products/synchronicwg/wg001.html
What would you guys go with? I need input cause I know nothing.
thanks

Never heard of Synapse, unless you want to chance it I would go with the Tial.

I run a turbonetics 35mm wastegate and dont have a problem with boost creep. I would go with the Tial, lots of people use them with good results.

Ok, so I've done some research, and I'm definatly going with the 38mm tial with the 8.7psi sping. So for christmas I'm getting the DNP SS manifold, DNP SS O2 housing, Tial 38mm (polished), prothane motor mounts, and Samco sport silicone radiator hoses (the factory ones are about do-do). Oh and all new speakers for the civic....they're all blowed to hell.
