the vibrations you feel when you hit the brakes while going fast, it because your rotors are probably warped. mine were too, so i went and got the slotted rotors to keep them cooler.
the brake light, one thing thats the easiest to check is make sure you have enough brake fluid in the resivore, if you don't the light can come on. there are other reasons but this is the most common.

you need to go to the dealership to get the ABS light problem read. general ABS system malfunction, probably due to your warped rotors.

Warped rotor is the main cause.. But it can also be caused by bent axle shafts, loose or worn wheel bearings or loose brake parts.
If you look at the brake rotor, you can usually see discolored patches, and that is a good sign that it's warped.
Like Jusg19 said, warping can be caused by excessive heat, possibly from riding your brakes, slamming them from stoplight to stoplight, ect.. but can also be caused by not torquing down your lug nuts to the right specs.
You can get your rotors resurfaced, but the problem could come back... Just get new rotors.
