Anybody here live in the philippines cause i'm going there in like a week in a half and i want to go and check out the honda or racing scene there. I'm leaving dec. 4 and will be there for about 5 weeks so if there are any car shows or races please tell me where they are at cause i'd really like to check it out.

Well, if you're here now, as I think you'll be spending your stay up to the New Year here, there seems to be not much going for car shows right now, although my friend did mention something about a motor show supposedly this December, but I have not seen any ads for one so far.
As for the racing scene, there's drag racing every Friday and Saturday nights at Marcos Highway in Marikina. Have not gone there myself. Drag racing is banned over at Greenhills, but if you're lucky some people might be there holding one, when the cops aren't around. There's an official drag racing event somewhere in the port area, but I don't know the exact place.
Car modding is big here. Maybe people here have been modding cars much earlier before its resurgence back in the U.S. My uncle, who came from San Diego, CA to visit us here last year, asked me if it's already done here, as in their place it was becoming popular. He was surprised when I told him people have been modding their cars here for years now.
My own car is a 1993 Honda Civic ESi, quite modded a bit, but not too much yet. I plan to add more to it, like new headers, and any other thing that I have not modified so far (and that's still quite a lot).
