Posting of Links to Other Automotive Forums (Please Read)

For clarification posting a link to another automotive forum or gratuitously promoting another automotive forum without a valid reason violates AF Community Guidelines that all AF members agreed to at sign up. It is classified as unauthorized advertising which is not permitted nor tolerated and could be interpreted as spam depending on the quantity of similar posts. This includes attempting to drive traffic to it or help the other auto forum increase it's membership.

We may allow exceptions if the link takes a member to a specific thread at another automotive forum that is relevant and helps the member resolve an issue or answer a specific question. No url that takes anyone to a main page with registration is permitted. Post(s) violating this rule will either be deleted or edited by a Moderator. Repeat offenses could lead to termination of AF membership.

A link in a signature or post where you are promoting your own ride is permitted. Such as to CarDomain, DragTimes, Personal Web Page (non-commercial) or similar car hosting sites, etc.

Links to auto parts suppliers or specialty parts such as high performance to include The Fiero Store is allowed and do not fall under the category of competing automotive forum.
