I have tried numerous searches for the location and replacement of the cabin filter in my 2004...... Everywhere says its under the glove box, remove 4 screws and there it is. Well no. Thats where it was in pre-2004, but I am getting tried of the mildew smell from the A/C and I want to locate this damn thing. I tried doing a search on this site on the home page but the F'ing Goodwrench ad on the top of the page covers the search box when it drops down!!! UGHH!!
Please help. AGAIN, I repeat; I need to locate the filter for a 2004 Yukon. Thanks

Well I got an answer to my own question.....thanks to all who posted.
I went to the dealer; no filter. period.
Stupid GM. How does the cabin get "filtered" then? Unreal. This is the same logic as the "no fuel filter".
Dumb.

Obviously, the member hasn't owned a vehicle made prior to the mid '90s when most vehicles didn't have a cabin air filter.
