fieros are so badass. my stepdad has one. every year he will pull it out of the garage, take it over to the road, cut a major burnout and put it back in the garage for a year. he never drives it anywhere though

They are nice cars thats for sure. Yes they are capable of doing major burnouts. I just can't get ours to line lock b/c the front of the car has no weight. The Fronts just get pushed forward. :D She will do doughnuts though. Remember im not encouraging you all to try this now b/c its hard on equipment....

Hmm... I think it is time to write a letter to Pontiac telling them to bring the Fiero back, fix the GTOs and Aztecs, and a bunch of other things they need to do. Scott, wanna help me with this one? ;)

Ok, You got it to line lock b/c you had it stoped on a hill. I tried to line lock our Fiero 2M6 and it just pushed the front wheels:D

IntegraB18LS
03-12-2003, 06:53 PM
true but that is only a 92 HP Iorn Duke.... I know what you mean about it plowing the front wheels, mine did it too. if you get the tires to spin fast enough first it wont plow them.

Have you torn anything up doing the burnouts yet?

IntegraB18LS
03-13-2003, 11:39 AM
what do you mean by torn anything up? any pavement...or anything in the car?

Kyle

Scott 02

Any parts on the car.

IntegraB18LS
03-13-2003, 02:44 PM
only thing that broke on it was the Transmission... hah i dont think it was from doing burnouts though.... It happened when i was racing a civic and i had a real hard launch, got to the end of the 1/4 mile and i had a hole in my tranny and it wouldnt come out of gear... Im sure the burnouts help it.... but the Tranny felt a little wierd to beggin with... oh well

IntegraB18LS
04-02-2003, 10:10 PM

IntegraB18LS
05-04-2003, 02:23 PM
that could be, but for what you think fiero's are not that light when you compare them to like sport compacts and such, has anyone removed a fiero door? thing is hard to lift with one person.... cars are still so fun to have though,,, :)

:) You telling me! Winston bought my Z28's stock air intake box with K&N airfilter last summer from eBay. He's a good guy and we chatted for a while. When I asked him about his ride (thinking he was rebuilding a junker f-body) he got embarrased and said that I'd laugh. Well nobody's jaw dropped more than mine - then I went to check out his site and was lke

oh my God

And he's really getting that LT1 modified - heads, cam - that car is going to mess up a lot of egos.

the year they came out they won several outstanding engineering awards including best use of plastics in an automobile and some more that indubitably sound more important, it was just the one i remembered offhand. while it may not be one of the best around now it was at one time.
