So what's better? I haven't found any!!! I think you're just jealous, or you have a pinto (one of the only Ford lemons). Name a vehicle of another brand that is better than its Ford counter part. I can go on for days with examples (torque, HP, safety ratings, etc) that show how Ford stacks up to it's compatition. Trucks, there is no beating a Ford, period! What's the #1 selling truck for 26 years running? What's the best selling SUV of all time? What's the best selling compact truck for the last 16 years? People that talk bad about one particular brand, are blind to the facts!!! Sorry to bust your bubble, but this is a reality check. Earth to sk8nbroslofski, Earth to sk8nbroslofski!!! fords are slow ass gas hogs. one thing better. my celica. hell damn near anything is better than a ford. the only good things ford made were the old mustangs and gt40s.

A Celica, that's it. Lets see what I can come up with. Comparing a Top of the line 2003 Celica GTS 6-speed against a base model 1999 Stang GT Automatic. These are both in the same price bracket, the Celica gets gas mileage of 23/30 (City/Highway) while the Stang gets 18/26. Not much difference that I can see. So price and gas mileage we can throw out. Slow is what the Celica is. The Celica gets 0-60mph in 6.6sec and the 1/4 mile is 14.9@94, while the Stang runs 5.5sec and the 1/4 mile is 14.1@99. So how do you get that Ford is slow? You must be comparing an Escort to a Supra. Which a Cobra will perform as well as a Supra, while the Saleen would leave the Supra behind like it was sitting still. You need to base your information on facts, not opinions or hear say. I don't go around trying to bash Chevy's or Toy's without some actual facts to support my claim. Otherwise it just makes you look like a fool that doesn't know what they are talking about. Have you ever driven a Ford? Most people that bash other makes is due to their ignorance. Talk is all you have, I want some actual specs and numbers that show how Ford is slow? So far everyone I've spoke to regarding this, has never been able to produce facts. Everyone has their own taste in vehicles, whether it may be a truck or car, a Toy or Ford. It's horrible that people assume so much about a car they have never driven or even know about. Hope you had a fun time learning that I can find a Ford (even old Ford) that will compete agaisnt anything you can throw at me. Thanks for your time!

v8x must get paid to tell this sorry ass story!! i have seen the supra's with 800hp rear wheel horse and then can have more. did they tell you the new motor was stopped in production because of problems? (plus half shaft balance) did they tell you the stock is down to junk status? did they tell you the focus has the highest recall rate ever! did they tell you that police officers are dieing due to bad design? did they tell you the pistons are melting on the 4.6 motor and even bob bonderunt had to leave the found on road dead nameplate!! wake up son...not all of us can get it in the butt!!

i didnt say a celica...i said my celica. my celica could eat a new celica alive. mines an 85. 2.4L dohc. rear wheel drive. exhaust headers. 2 1/2 inch diameter tailpipe. cool air intake. need i go on?
