Yet another little monster on AF! Although I would strip the paint and then attach the bodykit - it needs repainting anyway, it's just easier to work with bare plastic as you can fill something, correct mistakes, etc.

What paint did you use?

Ah that's awesome! I've had the urge to build that model ever since the first time I saw one in real life. There's somebody near my work that parks theirs outside some restaurant. It's sort of a beige/tan/brown color. It's hard to believe fiat managed to fit four seats in there.

I keep trying to take pics, but whenever I bring my camera out, it's not there, and whenever I forget it, it's parked! Argh.

Thats really cool. I want to do a "mini" car some day and make it a street monster.

GOT IT! Went out to lunch and had my mini-digi cam with me (hence the horrible pics).

holy crap look how small that thing is compared to the GMC work van! it looks like a whale chasing a minnow!

turmio - yours looks awesome so far. can't wait to see if completed!

That's what I was thinking when snapping that shot -- that, and how easily it looked like you could store the fiat in the back of the Van... Like that one Chevy Avalanche (Was it an avalanche, or the clone?) commercial with the two people going after the single spot in the parking lot. Great car... it's a joy to see in an otherwise boring workday.

that was the commercial for the Caddilac Escalade EXT, the Avalanche's clone. anyways, you're right. all you need are a few ramps and that thing is in that van no sweat! btw, you're progress chart in your signature is an awesome idea! shows what stage you are at for each model. just wanted to know a bit more about your S13 and anything you've done to it, as i'm building one too.

Ahh, that's right... Guess they have to retain that tough image for the Avalanche too, can't have it in a mall parking lot! :D

Thanks for the kind words re: my sig, but don't tell my boss, I put that up on company time :o

As for the S13, it's a birthday gift for a friend... I'm trying to make it look like his real car, and conveniently, he's trying to get a silvia front end imported which means I can build it box stock--this one's going to be a boring one I'm afraid :) Do you have any plans for yours? BTW, where are you at with it? Regardless of how many times I putty/reshape/primer, the damn sunroof keeps ghosting through the color coats. It didn't even show up on the primer, but right after the first color spray I could see it at certain angles :( Never seen this problem before.

That was my dad's first car, laugh it up, no other 16 year old had a car in Armenia at the time, so he was actually popular because he had a car. He has a cutaway poster of that car in his office, it's a cool car, Id buy it just for the fun of it.

i'm going drifter style with mine. so far, it's primed with three or so coats of TS-19 blue on it. still needs a couple more coats on the front and rear. the rims i currently have sitting on the chassis are Fujimi R32 Skyline wheels, which look really nice, but i'm still throwing ideas around in my head as far as rims go. i was trying to get R33 rims to put on it, as i'm sort-of making a replica of a friend's car in Japan. a racing seat will be put on the drivers side (on "civilian" drift cars, they usually only put race seats on the drivers side) and i plan to put some tuner decals on it. the chassis and interior are done, so pretty much all that needs to be done is the final painting on the body, but i just can't find the time for it lately.

on that note, does anyone possibly have a set of R33 rims (brand doesn't matter) that i could acquire?? i'll pay for them if i have to!
