Sup guys, well my car has stalled three times in the course of maybe a month. first it happened in the afternoon, then at night a week later, it doesnt make any sense because for it to actually be the fuel pump I would assume it would stall more frequently........ I dont know what it is, relays, sensors, or maybe the computer is getting the wrong codes for whatever reason, Ill be doing a diagnostic today....... please help!!!!:runaround:

I have the same problem with my 79 TA, I had the fuel pump switched out and it was still doing it. I had a miss and the timing was off. She was running way too rich too. I replaced all the spark plugs, wires, put a new distributor in and adjusted the mix and she hasnt had the problem since. If she dies again im going to be really pissed!

^^Im sorry, but I think it is going to be the fuel pump....why??? because today (9/22) I changed the fuel filter and the fuel pressure regulator(which it is the hardest thing I have done so far to my car :banghead: ) and still it is stalling, so I have no choice but to accept that it is the fuel pump. Hopefully tomorrow I will ask my neighbor to help drop the fuel tank and fix the damn thing nad get onn with my life....:screwy:

Well, i had an 88' 2.8L RS and it would stall in an irregular pattern. It would stall during the day, at night, and just every now and then. about every other or every third time i would start my car, it would not start. why you ask ? because the fuel pump was gaining and losing its pressure, which is why it would start irregularly. If it does that, then it is most likely the fuel pump. BUt they are a bitch to do if its an 82-92 camaro w/an electrical fuel pump.
