umm... if I ever met someone who actually used freakin ZIPTIES to hold a body kit on I think I'd have to slap them, thats as bad as the local dipshit that tried to glue it on and wondered why it looked like hell and fell off all the time, If you buy a good kit, and trust me you get what you pay for. $400 is gonna get you a headache. check out www.importtrenz.com (http://www.importtrenz.com) they have kits that fits without re-designing the whole stinkin thing, then use some nice truss head self tapping screw in discreet locations and it'll look good and last, and here's a trick, get some high quality like 3M double sticky tape and throw that under, Itll help hold it while you put screws in and quiet down some rattles

slideways...

the only place bodykits fit correctly ive found, is when you put them in the dumpster. they even look better that way than on the car.

^lol

I've done alot of kits at work, Stang805 is right.

Also you may need to sand/bend/trim things to get it to fit perfectly.

I could show you MILLIONS of pictures of cars that use zipties, but ill just use mine.

Slap away buddy, but zipties serve a purpose.

If im sideways at 80mph and my kit decides to give way, with zipties they will rip, with all your tacks and 3M my body and kit would get destroyed.

Id rather tear some 50cent zipties then a $500 dollar kit.

UNLESS YOU BUY A REAL DEAL KIT from Japan, the fitment is gonna suck.
Youll bolt it on under the hood, but that will tear out. Youll be stuck with the decision of buying another bumper or running some zipties.

If you want to get a kit to look cool at the local Dunkin Donuts meet, get the real deal and fit it properly.

If you actually drive your car to the limit, get what you can afford, but dont be surprised when EVERY car at the track has a bag of zipties just in case.

there are many sites that you can find body kits on.. just dont go to some cheap shit from ebay for like 200 to 500 dollars..
cuz you'll be saving some money that way but costing you tons and tons of more time and work needed to be dont to get
your kit fitting properly.
here is what mine looks like. but i paid around 850 for my kit and had to do minor sanding and cutting.. everything else
worked great. I have the origin stylish kit.

heres a few sites.

love your philosophy...exactly how i look at it. however i believe in buying nice kits no matter what....but you can bet that mine will be ziptied. look on zilvia.net 75% of everyone that drifts on there has there shit zipped. and it still looks better that 100% of the kits that are just reproductions instead of the rear deals. real deal means real deal fitment.

zip ties will work to. i didnt use them for my car, but it all depends on what you are going to be doing with it.

once again, umm...If you're sideways at 80mph adn your 50 cent sip ties give the odds of the piece surviving are pretty slim anyways, and you dont get things like an inch gap, and if you know what you're doing going sideways at 80 you shouldnt really have to worry about trashing anything that often, everyone has their own opinion and I'm not dogging anyone, I'm just saying if you're gonna spend the time and money you might as well do it right and 9 times out of 10 it looks better adn wont fly off at a buck fifty.

lol.

JR Gitten drove my car last season.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2369/2040554019_7336347a89_b.jpg
Tore the bumper clear off and in half.

I'm sure JR Gitten knows what hes doing, but somehow he still managed to rip my bumper off at 100 mph sideways.

It was bolted on then. All the bolts gave way but one and drug the bumper around half the course.

Saying if you know what youre doing you wont destroy anything is bullshit.

More like if you drive your car like a pussy you wont destroy anything.

Real deal fitment or bullshit knockoffs, no matter which you use, zipties are the safe bet if your car sees any kind of abuse.

Like I said, if youre parking at the local dunkin donuts, have fun with your bolts and shit, but every car at the track is gonna have some zipties for emergencies.

Yeah, zipties work.

front and rear only, do the sideskirts with screws because they'll get sucked under really easily with zipties.

if you pay for someone to put a kit on you're fucking retarded.

Use the pignose bracket between the headlights on the front bumper, with that thing I've used two zipties and the bumper held on 100+.
