Heat tape = bad for header. Thats not my car btw. :D

kinda throws you off though cause the heads gone and a red car hehe, heat tape looks sweet though

yea, why is tape header bad?

...pretty sure its b/c the metal needs to expand when it gets heated...that's why a ceramic coated header isnt good as well..

The tape kinda of seals in some of the heat and the header can actually get hot enough and crack. My friend had this problem, his cracked at the head flange. I think that it's better for it to "breathe". I personally like the smooth look that cermaic coated headers have.

header wrap causes the header to retain too much heat and it will make the metal unstable and break down. basically, you burn your header up.
