Can you provide a link to the product? Most people will tell youthe same as I. We find that FMIC from ebay or any cheap ones work just about as well as the name brand aftermarket ones. And baring that they aren't made of complete shit, you shouldn't have any problems.

Just make sure you inspect it before you install it for any dings or major damage to the cooling element.

One of my teacher has 3 conquests and I basically took one of them completely apart, lol. The conquest FMIC is a nice size for a stock intercooler. And I'm sure it would be alot better than your cars factory side mount intercooler. I've seen a guy with a car just like mine use a conquest intercooler with good results. I also like the fact that you said that it was converted from 2" to 2 1/2" but $200 is still alot of money for a almost 20 year old intercooler, IMO. Heres a pic of a conquest intercooler on a 2ga spyder.

I would just buy a new one if I was you. It would be brand new so I wont have any bent fins.

Yeah i was just looking on EBay, and alot of the cores on there go for less than $150, and that includes shipping.

I think I payed $110 shipped for mine. I would only use that one if he just gave it to you. I would rather buy a new one anyday, if it wasn't that much more.
