window pin replacement

I took the door panel off and replaced the window guide tab, the metal tab with the fuzzy part on the end that sits on top of the door. Now I need to replace the plastic pin that slides into the hole in the guide tab. How do I get to the pin closest to the front of the car? I have tried going through multiple holes but can not figure out the proper window placement/entry hole. Thanks to anyone that can help out.
