I am now a couple of miles shy of 150,000 and I was wondering what type of spark plug wires do most people replace the factory wires with. I changed my plugs out at 100,000 with AC DELCO's and they still are looking good. I have not seen any wear on the factory wires, just wanted to change them. The local autozone told me to go with Bosch wires, but I read somewhere that AC DELCO and Bosch doesn't mix. What do you suggest

I've always replaced my factory wires on my GM vehicles with A C Delcos and haven't had a problem. That's one option you have as there are many choices out there , but for basic needs I think for the price and quality, the A C Delcos are a very good choice.:2cents:

If you check this site:http://www.acdelco.com/index.jsp you can input your location and it will give you possible sources in your area to buy A C Delco parts. You might be lucky and have an A C Delco warehouse in your area that sells to independent garages, dealerships, AND the general public. There you usually can get good prices and knowledgeable counterpeople. In fact in my area we have such a warehouse and there I can buy a case of A C Delco oil filters for my vehicles at prices no other store can match ,( good thing many of my vehicles take the same oil filter:grinyes: )

Leave the Bosch ignition parts to German cars where they belong.

I found some A/C Delco plugs from my local advance auto parts store, and boy, are they expensive! 127.77! Does this come with a free meal from subway! LOL Does anyone know of any other retailers that might have the same wires for a cheaper price?

I have always found rockauto.com to be the best prices for AC parts. That being said, I put MSD wires with Denso plugs in my 02 I believe the whole thing cost me about 150 or so. I got them from Performance Products. My manual listed Denso plugs for a replacement, they are iridium.
