engine noise through speaker

had my windows tinted when i got it back got in there was engine noise coming through back speakers. they said they had to take the back window light off to apply, nothing else. unhooked factory amp sound went away they said something may have got wet. hooked up today and sound was gone not sure if sound quit or amp quit:banghead:

If, after you tried it today, you had music/vocals out the back speakers, but the noise was gone, the amplfier is working. It could have just been due to water from the tinting process. Also, the rear antenna wire is attached to the rear window. If that connection is loose, you could get static on the radio. However, it would not likely correspond to engine noise. Engine noise, noise that changes frequency in correlation to engine speed, is usually due to ground noise.
