heater blender stopped working

I had the radiator changed on my 2005 town car. When I got it back I didn't have any heat. I told them it wasn't working but I needed the car so I took it back and they said that the heater blender was not working.
Seems strange to me that it would stop during a radiator change. Could it be a connection not connected? They said a motor or blender arm.
They are talking about $700 bucks to change it out. A bit much for a 230K plus car.

sounds kinda like a pretty extreme coincidence. I would see if the
cooling system just has a big air pocket in it and needs to be "burped" !
I don't know if that year is one of those like my 98 Conti where
filling is a kinda tedious process to get all of the air out. I am sure
someone will chime in here and tell you how to do it. Even dealers
sometimes miss fill them since the process can involve letting the car cool
completely then putting water in at a fill point, not the resevoir.
Dont jump for a bda motor and if it should be that by coincidence
most of that cost is labor to take dash paneling off, not the part cost.
If you are not afraid of doing that, the job is fairly simple.
Problem is just accessing it through a removed dash top panel. Phrawg

Also, with your 2005 you can put the Climate Control System into diagnostics mode. It will check for errors / faults and let you know the status. In self test mode the Blend Door Actuator will pass or fail as well.
I don't have time at the moment to search this forum for instructions on how to get into and out of diagnostics mode, but it's in previous posts somewhere, use search to look it up.
