P/E sets for Tamiya 959?

Do you guys know if there are any p/e sets available for the Tamiya 959 Porsche?

Never heard about them.
I built one years ago and used PE wipers from a Modelers set and some wire looms from Detail Master on the motor.
There is not much of detail showing up in this model.

One extra tip:
Be carefull when you put the body over the chassis, as this in this specific model is quite trick to get it all aligned. Be prepared to spend some time on this. After it is aligned and ready, turns out in a nice model.
Another area that needs soem attention is the fit of the front windshield. Dry fit a lot before you paint the model, it will worth at the end!

The only thing that kit might need would be a set of drilled brake rotor overlays, and possibly some 4x6" speaker grilles for the rear deck. Otherwise it's not going to benefit much from PE.

They are showing 2 frets of PE while MediaMixHobby only show one.
Is this a mistake or are there really 2 frets in the set?

Nope, it's a mistake. The above set is for another kit, likely the Tamiya 956 by the look of the brake overlays (cutouts for two sets of calipers on each).

The brake overlays on the 959 set don't look great- there are alot of holes missing in them. The rotors on the 959 each have somewhere in the neighborhood of 108 holes (which is why I'm not excited about machining a set). By contrast, the F360's brakes each have only 70.

I have built the 959 with the Acustion set. It cost $17 USD but shipping from GB was a bit spendy. I used the rear speaker mesh, brake rotor covers, mirror faces, wipers, and seatbelt buckles; the front emblem is far superior to Tamiya's decal, once carefully painted. The license plates are unneccessary as are the racing seatbelt buckles but those can always be used on other kits. The brake rotor faces did not fit well and required modification. However, they greatly enhanced the look of the model.

A side note: This model is not typical Tamiya quality. Besides being grossly under-detailed and inaccurate in several ways, it does not fit toegether at all. I fought it every step of the way. I can tell you about the inaccuracies if you wish; just a heads-up. Being a devout Porsche owner and enthusiast, I have done heavy research into this car so I do know what I am talking about.
