I have a badger 200 bottom feed airbrush, and the air no longer goes through the valve assembly, I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was and if there is anything that I can do?
Thanks

something somewhere is probably clogged with dried paint?
have you stripped it down and cleaned it out thoroughly? Or maybe the trigger valve is jammed?
Are you getting no air at all or just a weak stream?

This is probably the problem, remove trigger valve from AB and put it on hose (just valve), turn on compressor and push valve pin, if there is no air that is your problem, you probably washed it in some hot thiner and rubber seal stuck. You will have hard time to unstuck that, leave it in alcohol for a while, maybe it will work.

That's my guess also. I made that mistake myself once. After I was convinced I'd well and truely ruined it, I did manage to free the valve and it's worked OK since. But don't soak airbrushes in thinner. :disappoin
Realisticly the worst case scenerio is that you'll have to disassemble the trigger valve and replace the sticky component. The replacement part shouldn't be hard to come by.

Hi, thanks for the help, the rubber had expanded and i had to use pliers to get in there, and then soaked in warm water, the airbrush now works fine. Cheers
