Msrp

To go along with my previous post, I was wondering if anyone has bought a 350Z for less than MSRP. I was talking to a dealership about ordering one, the salesperson said that they wouldn't go under MSRP. I was also in another dealership where they were selling right at MSRP. The first dealership I talked claimed that a guy came from El Paso (a 10 hour drive) to get one for MSRP. That guy's local dealership was jacking the price up $5000 over MSRP. Does anyone have a clue when it will be possible to get one below MSRP? or when there will be more on the lots, so we have some leverage on the price? Right now the only way I can get one is order it, pay MSRP, and get it sometime in March.

i walked in and got mine at MSRP. they did take off the $999 wax job from the price.
i think it's going to be awhile before you see them coming off msrp..but they are hoping to sell about 30,000 350's in NA. That's i believe twice the number of corvettes, which is the number one selling sports car in the country.
also, even if they do come off msrp, i doubt it will be very much.

same here... i'm not paying anything over MSRP for the 350z... there are a few dealerships that will do it, but then they try to add $1k for a paint protection package (which is a complete rip off)... i'm actually looking for a used one... that way i don't have to pay roughly $2k in sales tax... there are actually a lot of used ones out there.... but most people are trying to sell them like new cars (MSRP or more).... have patience, you'll find the right deal...
also, i read your other post... definitely go with the Enth. model at a minimum...

I've been scoping 350Z's since they've arrived at the dealerships. Today, all of them go for MSRP. (leases/purchases) There is a website I'm sure you've heard of called www. edmunds.com - they provide what is called TMV (True Market Value), surveying Nissan dealerships/buyers from all over the US to provide user's with what the average sale prices are on 350Zs. Dealer's regonize this and will adhere to them.
