95 GXE, Knock Sensor Location?

Does anybody know where the knock sensor is mounted in a 95 Manual? I need to replace it cause it just threw the CEL light on, how long can i go without it?

It's tucked way up under the intake manifold on the BACK side near the firewall. It's almost impossible to see never nind change it. You say life's a bitch then you marry one, wait until you replace this sensor. BTW, the CEL came on on my 96 W/Automatic and all indications were it was the knock sensor. On a huntch from a mechanic friend, he said replace the crankshaft position sensor, (right in front on the transmission bell housing on my vehicle) and that did the trick, go figure. Good luck! let us know.

Knock Sensors do not turn on CEL lights (Check Engine Light) In any other case, it is right above the oil filter under the intake. It is very tight to get in there to change it. gl :)

Should just be a direct replacement right? No long drawn out process involved?
