still stuck in second gear

ok i haave posted about this before and still having same problem...i have a 95 aurora that i replaced ecm, shift selonoids and filter, tranny flush and the car still wont shift out of second??? any suggestions???

Do you have power to the shift solenoid connection to the trans? Has this been scanned with a trans function scanner that can command the solenoids and confirm their operation? Is this second gear start and no shift or 1-2 only?

i dont know what kind of scanner my car got scanned with but i had the work done at an established transmission shop in my area so i dont know if there is actually power going to the solenoids........its stuck only in 2nd gear...wont shift at all

Trany flush... :uhoh: :nono:

I'd say tha'ts where the troubles came from.
You probly hav some passages pluged not letting it shift,
flushing is good about that.

actually im sorry...let me reword that....the mechanic said that when he changed the solenoids that most of the tranny fluid came out so he had to refill like 75% of the fluid and he replaced the filters with the solenoids so he said it basically got a flush cause it has mostly new fluid and new filters

most likely problem is that he didn't update the tranny with new pcs filter and bracket....

This might not be your problem .... but ... I had the same issue but it only did it occasonally. I replaced the computer for other reasons and haven't had a problem in 15k.

he told me that he did update the filter and bracket...and i also already changed the computer and its still doin the same thing
